Tour description
Our meeting point is at 09:45 at Landhausplatz in Innsbruck, directly in front of the Landhaus entrance. One of our first stops is the historically significant Kloster Wilten on the southern edge of Innsbruck. From there, we begin the climb to the picturesque villages of Natters and Mutters on the Mittelgebirge. The next section follows part of our most popular hiking route across the Telfer Wiesen into the Stubaital. Surrounded by rugged peaks, gleaming glaciers, open mountain forests and alpine meadows, we finally reach our first traditional mountain hut, Pfarrachalm. More traditional huts follow, including Kreither Alm and Raitiser Alm, before we reach the modern Mutterer Alm and its Panoramasee high above the Inntal. After a short detour to the welcoming Götzner Alm, we ride back towards the Inntal and enjoy the expansive panorama of the Mittelgebirgsterrasse, including views of the Zugspitze.
